VISIT OF CONDOLENCE BY AK PARTY TO CHINESE EMBASSY

On 3rd of June 2008, AK Party Vice Chairman and Istanbul Deputy Egemen Bagis, and AK Party Secretary-General Idris Naim Sahin made a visit of condolence to the Chinese Embassy for the earthquake of 7.8 magnitude in Sichuan province of the People's Republic of China, with a death toll to approximately 69 thousand up to date.

Bagis and Sahin met with the Chinese Ambassador to Ankara Sun Guoxian, and offered their condolence for their losses and wished speedy recovery for their casualties. Representatives of the AK Party Central Executive Committee signed the diary of the Chinese Embassy, and mentioned that Prime Minister and Chairman of AK Party Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and members of AK Party Central Executive Committee commisserate the distress of the friendly nation China., saying that they all believe Chinese people will overcome this disaster, and that Turkey and AK Party is always ready to do anything needed for helping them to recover.
