THE PROJECT, “DISABLED AT WORK” WINS THE AWARD

“Disabled at Work” run by Denizli Municipality won The European Enterprise Award 2012 in the category of “Responsible and Inclusive Entrepreneurship”.

During his explanation, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis congratulated Denizli Municipality for this remarkable success.

402 projects from 30 countries competed to win the European Enterprise Award which has run since 2006 with the sponsorship of European Commission, and the aim of which is to promote the enterprise and entrepreneurship at European level with the support and incentive of public institutions and organisations.

Within the context of The European Enterprise Promotion Awards, a short list is submitted for each 5 categories. Denizli Municipality was included in the short list submitted for the fifth category of “Responsible and Inclusive Entrepreneurship” with its project called “Supporting Disabled People into the Workplace”. The Project which was a nominee and which was successfully run by Denizli Municipality got the European Enterprise Award 2012 in its category.
