THE PROBLEMS OF OUR EXPATRIATES ARE BEING CONSIDERED NOW MORE THAN EVER

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis attended the dinner called Young Leaders Abroad which was held by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Relative Communities.

In his speech at the dinner, Bagis stated that Turkey was not able to stand by the citizens abroad in the past, but today this changed a lot and he said: “We have a Prime Minister whose heart beats by yours and who meets the Turkish youth everywhere. From now on, we consider the problems of our brothers abroad as much as we do for our people within Turkey since those of the same race with ours living abroad are in love with, deeply loyal to and proud of the development of this country as much as our people within Turkey.

Pointing out that all the people walk in a more prideful and strong manner thanks to the performance of Turkey in the economy, foreign policy and cultural field, Bagis requested the students to study hard. Stating that Turkey had revolutionized its education system, Bagis gave advices to the youth. He said: “We must read a lot and improve ourselves in order to have knowledge. If your common ground is to love this country, you have to establish a mutual dialogue about what to be done for its development”.
