THE 61ST GOVERNMENT OF TURKEY ESTABLISHED
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the Cabinet of the 61st Government.
Prime Minister Erdogan held a press conference about the 61st Government in the new building of Prime Ministry after he submitted the new list of the Cabinet to the President Abdullah Gul. Reading the decree law on the new Cabinet at the beginning of his speech, Erdogan announced the 61st Government as follows:
Deputy Prime Ministers: Bulent Arınc, Member of Parliament for Bursa, Ali Babacan, Member of Parliament for Ankara, Besir Atalay, Member of Parliament for Kırıkkale and Bekir Bozdag, Member of Parliament for Yozgat.
Minister of Justice: Sadullah Ergin, Member of Parliament for Hatay
Minister of Family and Social Policies: Fatma Sahin, Member of Parliament for Gaziantep
Minister of EU Affairs: Egemen Bagis, Member of Parliament for Istanbul
Minister of Science, Industry and Technology: Nihat Ergun, Member of Parliament for Kocaeli
Minister of Labour and Social Security: Faruk Celik, Member of Parliament for Sanliurfa
Minister of Environment and Urban Planning: Erdogan Bayraktar, Member of Parliament for Trabzon
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Ahmet Davutoglu, Member of Parliament for Konya

Stating that six names in the new Cabinet were new and the posts of three former ministers were changed, Prime Minister Erdogan wished that the new Cabinet would be good for both the country and citizens.
