SPECIAL SCREENING OF THE FILM "MUTLULUK" (BLISS)
"Bliss", the book of Zülfü Livaneli which made 39 editions in Turkey and was among the bestsellers in many countries including the US, Britain, Sweden, Greece, France, has been adapted to the screen by Director Abdullah Oğuz as a joint production of ANS and the Greek Company Highway. In the film written by Kubilay Tunçel and Abdullah Oguz, Talat Bulut, özgü Namal and Murat Han played the leading characters. Lale Mansur, Mustafa Avkıran, Emin Gürsoy, Şebnem Kösten, Meral Çetinakaya and Alpay Atalan were among the other actors and actrists of the film. The film was crowned by the soundrack of Zulfi Livaneli.
The film "Bliss" which depicts the tragedy of an assaulted girl from the southeast part of Turkey whose family gave her capital punishment due to traditions, played by Ozgu Namal, had a special screening on March 8th which was attendend by Egemen Bagis who had very positive comments on the film.
Bagis said that there was very successful and high quality acting in the film and the film strikingly reflected the social realities of Turkey.
Bagis added that although mostly resolved, Turkey still has many unresolved problems and for these to be resolved, determination and stability needs to continue, therefore, reflecting these issues "Happiness" is definitely a very successful film worth to watch.
