PKK IS NOT ONLY A TERRORIST ORGANISATION BUT ALSO A DRUGS AND A HUMAN TRAFFICKING GANG
Underlining that PKK was not just a terrorist organisation, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis said: “PKK is a subcontractor. PKK is a drugs gang. PKK is a human trafficking gang.”
Receiving Asim Guzelbey, the Mayor of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, at the Ministry for EU Affairs, Bagis stated that Gaziantep was a city very active in benefiting from the EU funds and producing projects.
Mentioning the bomb attack which was happened in Gaziantep two weeks ago, Bagis indicated that the feelings of unity, solidarity and brotherhood arisen in the city after the attack were quite significant.
Emphasizing that PKK wasn’t just a terrorist organization, Minister Bagis continued his words as follows:
“PKK is a subcontractor. PKK is a drugs gang. PKK is a human trafficking gang. It by no means represents our Kurdish brothers. It doesn’t make any effort for the social, cultural or constitutional rights of the Kurdish people, either.”
Upon being reminded of the remarks by Kilicdaroglu, the leader of Main Opposition Party, Minister Bagis said in response: “In such an important period, in such a period that our unity and solidarity need to stand strong, it isn’t appropriate for the leader of Turkey’s Main Opposition Party to simply ask “Didn’t you say that the intelligence was secured?” Today we are in agony, our hearts are all grieving. Instead of coping with our grief as one, it is quite a pity that the Main Opposition Party is trying to take advantage of it and attempting to make politics over funerals of our martyrs.”
