KIDNAPPING OF AYGUN AIMS TO HARM UNITY AND SOLIDARITY OF OUR COUNTRY

Attending the Sahur organized by the Cekmekoy Municipality in Doga Park facilities, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator, Egemen Bagis delivered a speech and said that some domestic and foreign agents were disturbed by Turkey’s fast development.

Bagis underlined the efforts to cause discord among the Turkish citizens, and said that they should act in unity and solidarity against these efforts.

Bagis mentioned about the kidnap of CHP deputy, Huseyin Aygun and said: ''An esteemed member of TGNA has been kidnapped by blood guilty terrorists. Regardless of the Party that Aygun is attached, this attack aims the TGNA itself, and the unity and solidarity of our country. We curse and condemn the terrorist organization kidnapping Aygun. Our government will use every means available, as stated by our Prime minister and the Minister of the Interior and hopefully our deputy will join his family and friends in the shortest time''.

Recalling the brain death of Specialist Sergeant Hasan Furkan Ozmen, who injured in the military vehicle during the bombing of terrorist groups, in Izmir, Foca, Bagis said:'' According to our religious belief, martyrs are immortal and they attain a particular degree. Today before sleeping, pray surah al-fatihah for him''.
