INTERNATIONAL LEGAL TRAINING PROGRAM - II
The 2nd International Legal Training Program organized by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities started with a ceremony held in Ankara.
In the ceremony, Minister of Justice, Sadullah Ergin; Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator, Egemen Bagis; and Deputy PM Bekir Bozdağ signed “The Cooperation Protocol regarding Legal Studies for Turkish Citizens Residing Abroad” and “EU Leonardo da Vinci Project”.
Stating that they started the process of finding long-term solutions for the problems of our citizens residing abroad, Minister Bagis said: “Today, in every place our Prime Minister, ministers, deputies and bureaucrats visited in the world, they meet and talk to citizens and brothers of the same descent living there.”
The Program which was held for the second time this year aims at informing people comprehensively about the protection mechanisms of rights and freedoms on international level and introducing international job opportunities and procedures in the field of law. There will be theory classes and visits to some institutions of the Turkish Legal System throughout the training and the program will end on Sunday, 1 September.
