EGEMEN BAGIS ATTENDS THE ESENLER IFTAR MEAL

Egemen Bagis attended the district iftars organised during the month of Ramadan by the Esenler Municipality to strengthen the relations in the neighbourhood.

Mr Bagis accompanied the Esenler Municipality Mayor Mehmet Tevfik Goksu at the iftars in Havaalanı and Turgutreis districts.

Three thousand people were present at the iftar meal next to the Uhud Mosque in Havaalani District. The AK Party Esenler District President Umut Ozkan, the Esenler Mufti Halil Sekerci, Deputy Mayor Nihat Karatas, District Official Bekir Demircan and councillors broke their fast along with Egemen Bagis and Esenler Municipality Mayor Mehmet Tevfik Goksu.

Egemen Bagis said ‘’ I would like to thank Mayor Mehmet Tevfik Goksu for organising the iftar as he did in the past year. I am very pleased to be here and share the food with you all again. I wish you have a peaceful month of Ramadan.’’

The group went on to Turgutreis district, 410. street to attend another street iftar organised by the locals as soon as they broke their fast. Mr Bagis and Mayor Goksu continued with their iftar with the locals here and wished them all the best for the month of Ramadan.
