Egemen Bağış attended the invitation of the Erdem family

Chairman of Erdem Holding & Genpa and Spain's Honorary Consul of Izmit Marmara Region Zeynel Abidin Erdem gave an invitation in the honor of Ankara Ambassador at his home in Istanbul. The representative of the United States’ Consulate General, the representatives of different faith groups, representatives of business, politics and non-governmental organizations attended the invitation. 

The former EU Minister and State Minister Egemen Bagış made a speech on the invitation of the Honorary Consul Erdem and informed the guests about the recent events occurred in Turkey. Bağış pointed out the coup and civil war initiative in 15 July, and said that Turkey has survived all the difficulties to date and that the miserable who dream of making a coup over the economy will never reach their dreams and that the Turkish nation will overcome these difficulties as well. At the end of his speech, Bagış and Erdem exchanged their rosettes. 

Speaking at the same meeting, host Zeynel Abidin Erdem emphasized that Turkey is one of the determining countries in the Middle East and that no plan with long perspective in the region should be done without consulting Turkey.
