BESIKTAS POLICE DEPARTMENT AN EXAMPLE OF TURKEY

Beşiktaş District Police Building Although not on his usual meeting schedule, AK Party Istanbul 2nd Region Deputy Egemen Bagis visited Hayati Yilmaz, The Police Chief of Besiktas, whom he met in a previous meeting held with the official channels. Joining him was the AK Party Besiktas County President Necdet Dursun. During his visit, Egemen Bagis realised that the new practices initiated by Mr. Yilmaz changed the citizens' approach to the state and the police. Commenting on his satisfaction from the visit, Bagis praised the methods which reduced the waiting period and provided orderly bureaucracy. Bagis further noted that these practices are examplorary and should become widely exercised.
