BAGIS VISITS SİİRT FOR THE LOCAL ELECTION CAMPAIGN

Mr Egemen Bağış arrived to Siirt around noon time as part of the local election campaign in the area. He made a visit to offer his condolences to one of the locals after his noon prayer with Mr Ahmet Aydın, Siirt Governor.

Mr Bağış gave a speech in the programme organized by the AK Party Siirt Branch. In his speech, Egemen Bağış gave examples of injustice done in the past to late prime minister Erbakan and currently to the prime minister Erdoğan. ’The nation will give their responses at the 30th March election.’ He added.

‘If these people can start a defamation campaign against the Prime Minister Erdoğan, imagine what they can do to the ministers, MPs, Mayors, businessmen and journalists.’ Mr Bağış said. He continued his speech by saying that he actually shared for the first time that he was blackmailed because of the comments made by him during a tv programme. In that programme, Mr Bağış pointed that everyone has to act and be in line with the democracy.

Egemen Bağış also talked about Turkey’s progression in the past 12 years by mentioning about the strong economy, new roads, bridges, dams, hospitals and schools.

Finally, Mr Bağış said that Turkey has now 2 options. the first one is to give in to the custody or the second one is to declare their fully independence and work towards the 2023 and 2053 targets at the local elections on the 30th March.

Bağış and the group attended the opening of the AK Party Bahçelievler District  Women Branch afterwards.
