BAGIS RECEIVED FERGUSON, AUSTRALIAN PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY FOR MULTICULTURAL AFFAIRS

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis received Laurie Ferguson, Australian Parliamentary Secretary for Multicultural Affairs.

Development of the relations between two countries and Turkish immigrants in Australia were among the issues discussed during the meeting which was held at the Secretariat General for EU Affairs. Ferguson stated that Turkish immigrants contributed greatly to the development and improvement of Australia.

Before the reception, Bagis and Ferguson had attended the symposium called "Turks Abroad: The Symposium on Migration and Integration in its 50th Year", which was held in Bilkent Hotel and Congress Centre.Resource: AA
