BAGİS: "AK PARTY HAS TURKEY SKİP AN ERA"
The second of the regional meetings of AK Party Department of Foreign Affairs has taken place in Kayseri on the 5th of January. The program took place in Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Theatre Hall where also the AK Party regional advisory board meeting took place. Mr. Egemen Bagis, AK Party Vice Chairman in charge of Foreign Relations, Mr. Reha Denemec AK Party Vice Chairman in charge of R&D, Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu, AK Party Coordinator Vice Chairman of Foreign Affairs MPs from Kayseri and members of the party organization from the neighboring cities attended the program.
Mr. Denemec mentioned the importance of foreign investment in Turkey, Mr. Yildiz mentioned the stand point of Turkey as an energy corridor, Mr. Cavusoglu mentioned the Cyprus policy of AK Party government and the recent improvements on the island. Moreover Mr. Bagis talked about Turkish foreign policy during AK Party Government and the evolution of our democracy.
He also drew attention to the developments that happened in Turkey and stated that since 2002 Turkey is improving immensely economically and politically. Mr. Bagis has also made a review of the year 2007 and said: "Last year was really active. First of all political murders, 27 April's ultimatum, our victory of 22nd July elections is just a few examples. But, for me, the most important event of the year was the interest of Turkish people to the referendum."
