BAGIS ACCOMPANIES PRESIDENT GUL IN HIS VISIT TO AUSTRIA

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis accompanied President Abdulah Gul in is visit to Austria.

In addition to Minister Bagis, State Minister Faruk Celik, some members of the parliament, academicians, business men and journalists were also present in the group accompanying President Gul and his spouse, Hayrunnisa Gul.

In Vienna, President Gul met with his Austrian counterpart, Heinz Fisher and attended the signing ceremony of the 7th Term Joint Economic Committee (JEC) Memorandum between Turkey and Austria. President Gul also met with Austrian Prime Minister Werner Faymann, President of Parliament Barbara Prammer and Vienna Mayor Micheal Haeupl and attended the Austrian Turkish Economic Forum. Gul proceeded to Salzburg after concluding his program in Vienna, and met with representatives of Turkish community there.
