AK PARTY HAS NEVER DRIFTED APART FROM NATION

Stating that AK Party had never drifted apart from the nation, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis said that they didn't receive instructions from any other power elites.

Visiting Beykoz within the context of the election campaign, Bagis saluted the citizens at Ortacesme Cayırı, met with the sportsmen at Beytas facilities and attended to the Mesudiye Friendship Cup held at Pasabahce Stadium.

Minister Bagis delivered a speech in here and said that Turkey didn't dream about what would happen 12 hours later but about 12 years later, Turkey discussed the targets of 2023. Stating that they increased Turkey's income per capita from 2300 dollars to 11.000 dollars, Minister Bagis expressed that during the AK Party government Turkey which was the 26th largest economy before became the world's 16th largest economy and that they were trying to ensure Turkey to take its place among the world's 10 strongest economies. Bagis continued his words as follows:

"We visit every place with pride and honour and we are welcomed warmly. That's because we have never drifted apart from the nation. We have not received instructions from any of the power elites other than the nation. Our Party was founded in the heart of the nation. AK Party serves for the nation in accordance with the instructions of the nation. From now on only the nation can asses our performance. We have never been a party who acts with the instructions of dark or deep powers; we have never been a party who compiles its candidate list in accordance with the instructions of those.

Pointing out that improper passing would lead to death, Bagis said, "In democracies, improper voting leads to oppression. May God protect this country from oppression, coalitions, being called with unidentified murders, and tortures. Let Turkey's way be clear, let the stability continue, let Turkey grow."
