EGEMEN BAGIS MONTH OF MUHARRAM IS OUR COMMON VALUE

Egemen Bagis offered Asure (Noah’s Pudding) to the citizens at an event organized by the Cekmekoy Municipality for the month of Muharram.

The event held after the Friday prayer at the Alemdag Central Mosque was attended by the AK Party Istanbul MP Metin Kulunk, Çekmeköy Governor Cemal Husnu Kansiz, Çekmeköy Mayor Ahmet Poyraz, the AK Party District President Salih Kirici, Deputy Mayor Sahmettin Yuksel, District Education Director Ahmet Aktas, District Mufti Muhammed Suicmez and numerous citizens alongside Egemen Bagis.

In his speech Egemen Bagis said: "The month of Muharram is a time that unites us. It is one of our common values. It is very meaningful to see our municipalities’ determination in order to realize the true meaning of this month, and in order to enable our citizens to unite. I congratulate them".

The AK Party Istanbul MP Metin Kulunk, thanked those who contributed to the event.
