PM ERDOGAN IS THE ARCHITECT OF VISA EXEMPTION PROCESS
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis, participating to the 4th International Young Businessmen Congress held by the Youth Council of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) in Istanbul, said “The architect of the visa exemption process is our Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who instructed us to stand firm without getting stubborn and who personally followed each stage of this process.”
Egemen Bagis, stating that the determination of Prime Minister Erdogan and his friends in Istanbul has led to the emergence of AK Party in Pinarhisar, said “In Turkey, since the booklet of the Constitution took off from one side of the table, it used to charge an interest of 8 thousand until it fell on the other side. The wealth of the people used to decrease fifty percent in one night while their debts increased twice. The determination started in Istanbul established a very different economy throughout Turkey as it became the Government’s determination. This country actually gained self-confidence in terms of having a global claim. We showed that we have the self-confidence enabling us to say “one minute” in Davos.”
In terms of the process which will provide the visa exemption between Turkey and EU, Minister Bagis, stating that they had worked for years on this issue and that this was the success and result of all businessmen, businessmen’s associations, ministers of economy and all related institutions, said “But be sure that the architect of the visa exemption process is our Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who instructed us to stand firm without getting stubborn and who personally followed each stage of this process. Hopefully, we got the visa in the field of removing visa. We watch together that those who made things difficult in the visa issue failed.”
Minister Bagis, stating that in a TV show he saw that there were people coming from EU countries to Turkey as beggars, “I felt pity when I saw them. May God protect but today Turkey is an opportunity for employment and hope.”
Minister Bagis, telling about the support and statements of the officials of European countries in terms of Turkey’s EU membership, said that these were the proof of Turkey’s success.
