8 MILLION EUROS FROM TURKISH NATIONAL AGENCY FOR 33 PROJECTS
Projects which will be supported in 2013 within the scope of Leonardo da Vinci Programme for Transfer of Innovation in Vocational Education and Training that aims to transfer the best practices in Europe in the field of vocational training at institutional and curricular level were announced by Turkish National Agency.
Within this scope, a grant of approximately 8 million Euros was allocated to 33 projects. By means of these projects, it is aimed to transfer the existing innovative and/or best practices in 33 different fields of the vocational training in Europe to our country and to the partner countries of these projects.
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis, delivering a statement related to the support for the vocational training, said:
“The projects which are conducted within the scope of Turkish National Agency Leonardo da Vinci Programme for Vocational Education and Training contribute to increase the quality and attraction of vocational education and training in Turkey and thus perform a significant function in terms of training qualified labour force in our country. Within the scope of Transfer of Innovation Projects, a grant of approximately 35 million Euros was allocated to 150 projects until now; transfer of innovative and best practices was provided in different sectors in order to increase the quality in vocational training and to strengthen the cooperation and communication between the education and business world.
I would like to congratulate and wish success to the institutions projects of which were approved within the scope of Leonardo da Vinci Programme for Transfer of Innovation in Vocational Education and Training.”
