BAGIS ANNOUNCES THE GRANT DISTRIBUTION RESULTS FOR 2013 ERASMUS PROGRAM

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bağış announced the grant distribution results 2013 for Erasmus Program during the press conference at the National Agency.

In his speech during the press conference Egemen Bagis said “Turkey is at the top of the list in terms of both the support and the number of personnel and students attending to the program. Turkey sent just 1481 students and personnel to the EU in 2004. This year Turkey will send more than 22 thousand citizens, over 18 thousand of which are students and approximately 4 thousand of which are instructors. That Turkey is one of the countries where these programs are highly demanded, indicates how dynamic and insatiable for knowledge our young generations are. These are the young generations of the future Turkey.”
