10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE NATIONAL AGENCY

The Minister for the European Union Affairs and the Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis attended the opening ceremony of “81 cities 81 projects, the Festival of the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of the National Agency” held in Halic Congress Centre to honour the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the National Agency. 

Making a talk here, Bagiş said that Turkey’s accession process to the European Union at the same time meant Turkey’s process of reform, reconciliation and living humanely.

In his talk, Bagiş mentioned that the Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan would also attend the festival the day after. Bagis stated that Turkey’s accession process to the European Union at the same time meant Turkey’s process of reform, reconciliation and living humanely and said: “Turkey’s accession process to the EU contributes the democratization, transparency, prosperity and the development of Turkey and also, is the most important platform of the reconciliation process.”

Bagis declared that 70 thousand people from 81 cities would benefit from EU funds in receiving trainings in Europe and he added: “Attending trainings in Europe is no more a privilege of the upper class. Every citizen of Turkey in 81 cities can attend trainings in Europe through making applications and preparing the necessary projects”
