WITH BAGIS, PROGRESS WILL BE ACHIEVED IN REFORMS
Czech Republic's Ambassador to Ankara Eva Filipi, currently holding the rotating presidency of the Union, said that the appointment of Minister for EU Affairs Egemen Bagis as the new EU Chief Negotiator is a "very positive and valuable step" and she added that "this appointment proves the adherence and willingness of the government to do more in the EU membership process".
Filipi expressed her hope that progress will be achieved in reforms upon the appointment of Bagis and added that Bagis is knowledgeable and communicative and thus, was the right choice for the post.
Filipi, also stated that Turkey has an extensive field of foreign policy, it is not dealing with only EU but various issues.
