"BESIKTAS, WILL REACH GOVERNANCE IT DESERVES"

AK Party Besiktas District Organization's Third Congress, was made in Akatlar Sport and Culture Complex on 25 October 2008 Saturday. State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Hayati Yazici, State Minister Nimet Cubukcu and AK Party Vice-Chairman Egemen Bagis, some Parliamentarians and County Presidents participated to the Congress, in which Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan joined with video-conference.

After Turkish National Anthem, Prime Minister Erdogan stated that "Again in Besiktas there is a determined preparation. Authorities in Besiktas are long for AKP's municipal work" He also wished congress good luck for his party, democracy and country.

AK Party Vice-Chairman Egemen Bagis said "Every inch of Turkey's soil is holy and receive service" He reminded Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's presence in Tunceli and stated "some impertinent people do their best to harm this togetherness; however, this shows we give more importance to that region"

Stating "Nobody can manage to judge or play off against people based on their ethnic identity and religious beliefs" Bagis said "This is because we are a party that has parliamentarians from every region not just one region and has become a party for all different groups of society"

Bagis pointed out "Many things considered as dream come true with AK Party ruling period. Turkey's temporary membership for United Nation Security Council after 47 years with votes of 152 countries is a huge success. A Council, which claimed Turkey as an occupant 30 years ago in Cyprus, now, accepts Turkey with its 152 members. Hence, it admits its assessment as a mistake. So to say, world community justifies Turkey and TRNC and apologizes from them"
