MINISTER BAGIS'S TRADITIONAL IFTAR DINNER

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis hosted an iftar dinner in Ankara, at which he gathered many different parts around the same table.

Members of TGNA EU Harmonization Commission and Foreign Affairs Commission, Ankara Ambassadors of the EU member states, Ankara Ambassadors of Islamic Cooperation Organization member states, EU Permanent Contact Points of public institutions, Ankara representatives of media organizations, diplomatic reporters, representatives of different faith groups, staff of the Ministry for EU Affairs, Centre for European Union Education and Youth Programmes (National Agency) and Turkish Accreditation Agency (TURKAK) attended the traditional iftar dinner.

During his speech at the dinner, Minister Bagis stated that EU should realize the richness of its own table during this blessing month of Ramadan and he said “Turkey is the only country that will enrich the EU’s table and improve the taste of the EU.”
