ADVISORY BOARD HELD ITS FOURTH MEETING

The 4th Meeting of the AK Party Foreign Affairs Department Advisory Board was held on June 5th, 2008, in Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA) AK Party Caucus Meeting Hall.

Vice Chairmen of the Foreign Affairs Department Taha Aksoy and Suat Kınıklıoğlu, and the presidents of TGNA international commisions participated to the meeting which was held under the presidency of AK Party Vice Chairman in Chareg of Foreign Affairs Egemen Bagis. While there was made some evaluations about the foreign policy agenda of the AK Party, the participants were also imformed about the activities of the AK Party Foreign Affairs Department since the last meeting of the Advisory Board.Making his statement after the meeting, Bagis stressed the functionality of the AK Party consultation mechanism, and said: "We held the 4th meeting of the Advisory Board with the participation of the Vice Chairmen of the Foreign Affairs Department and the presidents of TGNA international commisions. Similarly to the previous meetings, we exchanged our views about the foreign policy agenda of our country."
