TURKEY ATTRACTS ATTENTION

“Turkey and the European Union Dialogue with Photographs Exhibition” as part of Turkey-EU Civil Society Dialogue Project run by the Ministry for EU Affairs was opened with the participation of Egemen Bagis, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator. 

In the speech he made during the inauguration ceremony held at Istanbul Ataturk Airport International Terminal, Minister Bagis mentioned that the inauguration of this exhibition in Istanbul Ataturk Airport which is one of ten most busy airports in Europe, is an indicator of Turkey’s potential and said “Now it’s Turkey’s turn in the international platform”

Minister Bagis said “The year 1959 when the EU process launched maybe the black and white days of Turkey but now fortunately Turkey starts to print coloured digital photographs. We know that there are some narrow-minded European politicians who don’t want to understand Turkey. But we have the knowledge to solve their concentration problem.”

Dialogue with Photographs Exhibition will be open for 24 hours until April 10, 2012 at Istanbul Ataturk Airport International Terminal.

Within the scope of Turkey-EU Civil Society Dialogue Project, the exhibition named  “EU-Turkey: The Human Link” which was opened in the European Commission, Brussels under the auspices of Minister Bagis and Stefan Fule, European Commissioner for Enlargement, will be open until 26 March 2012.
