USA DELEGATIONS VISIT TURKEY MORE FREQUENTLY

As the Turkey- USA relations are emerging to the level of strategic partnership nowadays, USA delegations are visiting our country more frequently. The first of these visits took place on the 26th of December 2007 consisting of 4 members of USA House of Representatives Armed Services Committee. After that, on the 4th of January, US Senate Delegation consisting of 4 people visited Turkey with Senator Mel Martinez the Head of the delegation. Both delegations were accepted by the Prime Minister and subjects such as Turkey-USA relations, our decisiveness to fight terrorism, Turkey's position as an energy corridor were discussed. Mr. Egemen Bagis, AK Party Vice Chairman in charge of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu, AK Party Coordinator Vice Chairman of Foreign Affairs accompanied the Prime Minister.
