TO BE THE WINNING HORSE
After a long pause to our Bulletin, it is with the great pleasure of reconnecting with you once again, that I say Hello...
We will try to inform you about our work and share our opinions regarding current topics at least once a month through our Bulletins.
Taking into account, the values of the Turkish people, regional sensitivities and national interests, we all know that the phrase "One Minute" causes indigestion for some elitist groups.
As a result of this indigestion, local traitorous terror subcontractors like FETO and the PKK have carried out the Gezi protests, the unsuccessful coup of December 17-25, attempted to cause civil unrest with the Kobani, Uludere, Ankara, Istanbul, Sanliurfa, Elazig and Gaziantep incidents, have tried to deal a blow to our country's tourism sector with the downing of a Russian aircraft and have tried to incite a civil war with the invasion on July 15th. We thank God for the resolve and action of our people which, ruined the hopes of these groups to divide our country and contrary to they're expectations have resulted in a national unification that has rarely been seen before in history.
The spirit of August 7th, which has found its place in literature and has become part of our national consciousness, is actually the best antivenom against the indigestion of hostile groups and the problems that face our people.
Last year I was informed of an incident at a conference that I was invited to in a Middle Eastern country. Intelligence officials brought the previous monarch of this country, who is now deceased, an audio recording. The King becomes deeply saddened and angered when he hears on the recording a conversation between an insurgent terrorist leader, who under the guise of bringing democracy to to the country, outlines plans for a coup with his handler from a foreign organization, who basically lights a green light for the operation by answering, "we will not intervene in your domestic matters".
The State's initial response is to crush the coup preparations of the insurgent terrorist group. Afterwards, they get a randevu from the President of the country the foreign organization represents and
visit his oval-shaped office.
The host, who used to be a peanut farmer, rolls out the red carpet for his guest and after a couple kind greetings, asks "How can I help you my beloved brother?". The visiting King states that he
does not have any demands and only requests an explanation for the audio recording, which he plays for his host. Upon listening to the recording, the host President implies that the recording could be
genuine and that they do not have any evidence to falsify it. He concludes the conversation with an interesting sentence, "The day this recording was made you were a losing horse but, today you are a
winning horse and I ensure that my country is 100% behind you and will provide any necessary support".
In short, the moral of this story is that we can overcome all problems as long we are one with the national and local consciousness and stand united.
As our National poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy said:
"An enemy cannot enter into a people undivided.
If hearts beat collectively, cannon fire cannot suppress it"
I am greatly looking forward to meeting again at our next bulletin. Kind Regards...
