NOTHING WILL BE THE SAME AGAIN
Attending the programme titled ''Difference of Opinion” in Channel A, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis spoke about the treacherous attacks in Hakkari and he said: “We will not give up. Today may be a turning point for Turkey. Nothing will be the same again”
Bagis stated that the recent operations against PKK had cornered the terrorist organisation and the cold weather drove the organisation to make a last-ditch effort. Bagis emphasized: “We will not give up. Today may be a turning point for Turkey. Nothing will be the same again”. Bagis expressed his condolences to the Turkish Nation and he said: “Now, words are inadequate”.
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator, Egemen Bagis remarked that Turkey would not give up democracy, civil constitution and the fight against terrorism because of these attacks. He added that after the 12-June elections, terrorist attacks had increased, because some circles in the terrorist organisation began to afraid of losing a great deal of profit.”
Flaying the countries approaching the issue with a view of : “Let the snake live, if it does not bite you”, Bagis expressed his hope that friendly and allied nations would not have any grey point in the fight against terrorism, and he added: “If you leave any grey point in the fight against terrorism, this will encourage them. Therefore, black and white should be separated clearly in fight against terrorism”.
