MINISTER BAGIS OFFERS CONDOLENCES TO NORWEGIAN EMBASSY
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis visited the Norwegian Embassy in Ankara to extend his condolences and said, "This savagery is very tragic not only for the Norwegians but also for the whole humanity."
Stating that Norwegian people had a very severe experience, Minister Bagis said, "Underlining that counter terrorism can only be effective through international cooperation, , I believe that we are one of the countries who feel the pain of Norwegian people most, as a country suffering from Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorism for forty years."
After signing the book of condolence for the people who lost their lives in the attacks, Minister Bagis, thanked Ambassador Cecilie Landsverk, whose term of office is about to end, for her 5-year-sensibility and contribution to improvement of the relations between two countries.
When leaving the Embassy, Egemen Bagis emphasized the necessity of an international cooperation in the fight against terrorism and continued his words as follows, "The security forces of all nations should cooperate in the fight against terrorism and a joint fight should be realised against all kinds of terrorists without classifying them as good or bad."
