WE HAVE GLORIFIED BOTH TURKEY AND OUR NATION

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis came together with citizens in Istanbul at AK Party Beykoz Cavusbasi District Agency. In his speech he delivered there, Bagis said that the great gap between the state and the people was abridged.

Indicating that they had left the times when they worked as apprentices and semi-skilled workers in their governing period behind and now they have become master workers, Bagis stated that in their forthcoming governing period of 4 years they, as masters, would solve all problems of Turkey which became chronicle and could not be solved up till now.

Bagis said that Turkey has reached the highest position of its history today and continued: "Per capita income in Turkey has never been higher than this. Our democracy has never been as strong as it is today. Willpower of the nation has never been as strong as it is today. However, we are not satisfied with the point we have reached. We believe that this nation deserves the best of everything."

"That is why we say 'Target 2023' said Bagis and continued: "We set a target; it is to make Turkey one of the 10 most prosperous, richest and most respected countries of the world. Can we do that? We can. We can do it as long as we believe it and join our forces. I pray God not to let evil eyes touch the love and dialogue between you and us."

Stating that important high risk works have been carried out in Turkey, Bagis said that first of all the gap between the state and nation has been gradually abridged and in the last 9 years they had made their best efforts to improve democracy and make more investments and they worked to glorify people.
