EU COMMUNICATION VOLUNTEERS COMPLETE THEIR TRAINING

The participants, who completed their trainings within the scope of "EU Communication Volunteers" programme carried out by the Secretariat General for EU Affairs, received their certificates in the press meeting organized with the participation of Minister for EU Affairs and the Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis.

Delivering a speech at the press meeting organized in EUSG's Ortakoy office in Istanbul, Bagis stated that within the framework of Turkey's EU Communication Strategy and within the scope of EU Voluntariness Year activities, they had launched a very important project and added that hundreds of young people had applied to the "EU Communication Volunteers" programme launched concerning the EU process which is one of the most important civilization projects of Turkey. Bagis said that 64 young people had been selected in that process.

Stating that they had many projects related to the young people and that they had wanted to explain these projects to the young people in Turkey, Bagis said that Turkey's young population, which bothers some people, in fact was a great hope for those who understand the strategic position of Turkey.
