TURKEY'S EU MESSAGES TO BE SPREAD GLOBALLY BY DHL

The campaign aiming to inform the European public opinion and remove prejudices through the cooperation of the Secretariat General for EU Affairs and DHL Express has been introduced with a press conference and a signing ceremony which was held with the participation of Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis.

At the press conference held in Istanbul The Marmara Hotel, Bagis said that within the framework of the campaign they would give the correct message to millions of Europeans by the motto "Turkey to the Future of Europe" to be printed on packages, envelopes and trailers for one year.

Egemen Bagis said: "With our message we are going to underline the prospective contributions of a stabilised and prosperous Turkey to the European Union by its multiculturalism, young and dynamic population and fastest growing economy in Europe."

DHL Express Turkey Director Michel Akavi stated that 8 thousand envelopes and packages were sent from Turkey to different regions of the world via DHL Express in one day and every month the messages would reach 150.000 European recipients during the one-year campaign.
