EU, NOW A READING MATERIAL ON INTERCITY JOURNEYS
Informative brochures regarding EU process, which were prepared by the Secretariat General for EU Affairs, will be distributed to passengers in intercity buses.
A Cooperation Protocol between Secretariat General for EU Affairs and Metro Tourism concerning distribution of brochures to passengers in intercity buses has been signed by the Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis and the Chairman of Metro Turizm Omer Bilgiseven. The first bus equipped with these brochures was sent off, with calls of "No EU passengers to be left behind!"
During the speech he delivered in the garden of EUSG, indicating that they have taken a new step in the communication campaign in the EU process, Minister Bagis congratulated the campaign administration and workers who contributed to the achievement of this civil society initiative. Bagis said that they would be ready to cooperate with all who demonstrate the same sense of responsibility.
Bagis said "We are ambitious about informing Turkish citizens regarding EU process and leaving no person uninformed. They are undertaking efforts to bring together our citizens from all over Turkey, which has become much more modern with its new roadways, particularly those constructed in the past ten years. From now on, we will cooperate together on this common ground."
