THE MEVLANA HOMES OF TURKISH RED CRESCENT DELIVERED TO THEIR OWNERS IN PAKISTAN

The keys of houses placed in Hurriyet district constructed by Turkish Red Crescent were distributed by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's spouse Emine Erdogan, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis and Minister of State Selma Aliye Kavaf to the right owners.

120 new Mevlana Houses that were constructed by Turkish Red Crescent within the scope of aid campaign initiated by Hurriyet Newspaper were taken by new owners.

In the speech he delivered at the ceremony, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis pointed out that after the flood Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been all eyes and ears to Pakistan.

Stating that they came to Pakistan with the Prime Minister Erdogan's spouse and his daughter, two ministers and a crowded group, Bagis expressed that this was the sign of friendship between Turkey and Pakistan.

Pointing out that the name of Pakistan was very meaningful to Turkish people; Bagis said "Turkish people feel the pain of a person in Lahor, Karaci and Islamabad."

Underlining the importance of aid from nation to nation, Bagis added that he was happy to see the aid from mosques, nonprofit organizations and mass media in Turkey.
