Visiting TRNC to attend the diploma ceremony for the honorary degree of the American University (GAU), Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis met with TRNC President Dervis Eroglu.

Stating that TRNC was very important and a national issue for Turkey, Bagis said regardless of the ruling government and the opponent, the military and the civilian; all the citizens considered the problems of Cyprus as their own problem and that their approach on the issue would not change in the coming period.
