SOLUTION IS TO FOCUS ON THE EU REFORMS

Attending the programme named "Kırmızı Hat" in CINE-5, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis made statements on the agenda.

Declaring the necessity to focus on the reforms in the upcoming period Egemen Bagis said: "only solution for the problems encountered is to focus on the reforms".

Stating that different sects of the society in Turkey had different concerns and fears but the EU could have brought all these people together; Bagis said that a "common way for everything" could be found in the EU process.

Bagis underlined the importance of Newroz and stated that within the framework of the new initiatives, everybody began to empathise with each other. Bagis said: "Turkish people have not ‘spoken out but grumbled' for years, but this has begun to change".
