BAGIS ACCOMPANIED PRIME MINISTER ERDOGAN DURING HIS VISITS TO THE USA AND MEXICO
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis was among the delegation accompanying Prime Minister, Erdogan in his visits to the USA and Mexico.
In delegation accompanying Erdogan and his wife, Emine Erdogan in their visit to Washington were the State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Ali Babacan; Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister for the Public Works and Settlement, Mustafa Demir; AK Party Vice-chairman, Kursad Tuzmen and Deputy Chief of General Staff, General, Aslan Guner.
Within the framework of the official visits in the USA, the Prime Minister, Erdogan first met US President, Barack Obama. Later on, Prime Minister, Erdogan delivered a speech at the Johns Hopkins University. Then, he attended the meeting titled: "Turkey in the World Politics" organized by the Washington Office of the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA). Erdogan also attended the meeting of the German Marschall Fund and the interview in the American PBS Channel and there, answered the questions regarding the agenda. After completing the official visits, Erdogan and the delegation accompanying him departed to Mexico City.
Bagis accompanied Prime Minister, Erdogan also in the above mentioned visits.
In his visit to Mexico, Prime Minister, Erdogan delivered a speech titled: "Turkey's Quest for Global Peace in the New Millennium" at the Matias Romero Institute and then he addressed the Mexicon Senate.
