Egemen Bağış: A leader targeted by the western media with slanders enshrines in his people’s heart

Egemen Bağış moderated the first panel session entitled “The Place and Importance of Erdoğan in the Turkish, Islamic and World Politics”,held in the framework of the agenda of “Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Symposium”, hosted by White Movement Association (Beyaz Hareket Derneği).

Bagış saidmankind passes through a very critical period of time today not only in Turkey and the Middle East but around the world.

Bağış stressed that there is a fierce but inconspicuous arm wrestling going on between the power elites in the world and this may lead to the revision of the maps or the redistribution of the cards on the centenary of World War II.

Bağış expressed “While the world witness one of the most severe economic crisis in history, a leader who brought his country out of the crisis without much damage, a leader who was targeted by the western media through systematic lies and slanders, a leader who drew the fire of a parallel betrayal gang that became a stooge of foreign powers in its own country, a leader who was aimed at by the opposition parties that are judged with eternal opposition by this country’s people, enshrines in his people’s heart.”
