“WOULD THE WORLD REMAIN SILENT IF 300 PEOPLE WERE MASSACRED IN GERMANY OR IN THE USA''

Egemen Bagis attended the iftar programme organized by the AK Party Buyukada District.

Mr Bagis chatted with the locals as soon as he arrived on the island by boat.

The programme started with the recitation of the holy Quran and the prayers were performed for Gaza and the citizens of the rest of the world. Around 2000 people were present at the event.

In his speech, Egemen Bagis said’’People will elect its own president to show how strong our democracy is. We will move our prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Cankaya as the president of Turkey elected by its nation for the first time.’’

Finally Mr Bagis concluded in his speech about Israel’s ongoing assault of Gaza by asking “Would the world remain silent if 300 people were massacred in Germany or in the USA?''
