"May God mercy on him and I express my sincere condolences to his family, friends, those who lost him and employees of Anatolian Agency and TRT.
Husamettin Celebi was a representative of a school, number of whose members has unfortunately decreased in the Turkish press. He had the modest virtue of being precious; not being famous. He was a brave defender of the decencies of the news. Celebi personally proved that the true news had the priority and the taught this to the people around him. Celebi was a school. We see with honour that many journalist guided by him are working in the Turkish media successfully. Husamettin Celebi taught that regardless of the title or office, a journalist should work with the enthusiasm of a reporter. Celebi proved that a journalist can work at every condition without being effected by any pressure or influence. It is happy to remember that he exerted great efforts for the technological development of AA and it's becoming a prestigious and respective agency. Celebi's vision was to ensure that AA became powerful in Turkey, open up to foreign countries, and be an international trademark. Thankfully, he witnessed the success of his projects. He will be recalled with love, respect and mercy in each news written or broadcast."
