MINISTER FOR EU AFFAIRS EGEMEN BAGIS RECEIVES THE PRESIDENT AND THE MEMBERS OF TURKISH EXPORTERS' ASSEMBLY

Receiving Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) President Mehmet Buyukeksi and the board members at the Secretariat General for EU Affairs, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis, indicated the important role of TIM during Turkey's EU accession process and stated that TIM presidency always supported Turkey's EU membership.

Stating that they wanted to work closely with TIM in the forthcoming period also, Bagis said: "Together with TIM, we want our country to be presented properly and emphasize once again Turkey's importance in Europe together with its labor force that has become the world's 17th and Europe's 6th greatest economy."

TIM President Mehmet Buyukeksi stated that they as TIM would do everything possible to contribute to the EU process.
