EGEMEN BAGIS WITH TURKISH EXPATRIATES IN ZURICH

Egemen Bagis said ''The president chosen by the nation will be the head of the state'', in connection with the presidential election in Turkey.

Egemen Bagis came to Switzerland to attend the panel ''2023 Vision of Turkey who broke the Custody Chains'' at the Hiton Hotel in Zurich, organised by the Union of European Turkish Democrats (UETD). He pointed out the importance of the Turkish citizens in Europe being able to vote.

"Presidential elections, a first also for our Turkish citizens in Europe.”said Mr Bagis."Because Turkish expatriates in Europe first time will be able to vote without coming to Turkey in an election. This has been achieved mainly due to the hard work and huge effort by the Union of European Turkish Democrats (UETD). “ he said.

In his speech Mr Bagis also criticised the opposition parties at the point of identifying candidates for the presidency.
