THE OPENING OF ORTAKOY MOSQUE

Egemen Bagis accompanied PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the opening of the newly restored historical Ortakoy Mosque.

The opening was very crowded at the Ortakoy Mosque which was built 161 years ago by the Sultan Abdulmecid on the banks of Ortakoy.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Egemen Bagis performed their Friday prayers at the mosque before the opening.

Mr Bagis chatted with the locals and had photographs taken with them after the opening.
