A NEW TERM STARTS REGARDING THE RELATIONS WITH INDIA
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan went to India-Bangalore with the State Minister Mehmet Aydin, Minister of Industry and Trade Zafer Caglayan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Hilmi Guler, Group Deputy Chairman Sadullah Ergin, AK Party Vice-Chairman Egemen Bagis and members of the parliament.
Erdogan said that despite it was late, the India visit was productive and it will conduce to the beginning of a new term. Erdogan said that actually Turkey and India are not distant countries to each other; both people, their cultures and traditions are so close to each other.
Erdogan touched up on the importance of the realization of Free Trade Agreement and called out to the businessmen "You know needs and abilities of two brother country best. Your contacts are so important for both countries."
Erdogan reminded the continuing contacts of Turkish and Indian Energy Ministers and continue as: "Our ministers are negotiating on energy and I believe that there will be an important step on this issue. Think about the arrival of petroleum by oil tankers from Russia by crossing the Black Sea. And now think of its arrival by a pipeline. It will bring down the process of petroleum transformation from 39 days to 16 days. No smart administration or government will refuse the positive effects in freight costs and invest on it. We will take necessary steps on this issue. "It is important for the security of supply as well. I hope that the efforts for taking these steps will be realized by Turkish, Indian and Israeli Ministers of Energy coming together."
Prime Minister Erdogan touched upon projects carried by Turkish contractor firms abroad, and said: "I believe that Turkish firms will have an important role on infrastructure investment of India. During this trip, there were a number of famous contractor firm representatives with us, and they had the chance to make contacts"
