EGEMEN BAGIS ACCOMPANIES PRIME MINISTER ERDOGAN IN HIS VISIT TO BERLIN

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis was among the delegation accompanying Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in his visit to Berlin.

On the first day of his visit, Prime Minister Erdogan attended the opening ceremony of the new Turkish Embassy building in Berlin. Besides Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his spouse Emine Erdogan, Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu, German Foreign Minister Westerwelle, heads of foreign missions and state politicians also attended the opening ceremony of the largest Turkish foreign mission abroad.

Delivering also a speech at the conference titled “Europe Beyond the Crisis” at the Nicolas Berggruen Institute, Prime Minister Erdogan met German Chancellor Angela Merkel for a working dinner on the second day of his visit.

Taking part in the delegation accompanying Prime Minister Erdogan during his Berlin programme, Minister for EU Affairs Bagis, on the second day of the visit, delivered a lecture titled “Turkey-EU Relations: Building the Future Together” at the Academy of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
