"NOBODY CAN STAND AGAINST TURKEY"

AK Party Vice Chairman Mr. Egemen Bagis was the guest of TV8's program 'From the Capital with Erkan Tan'. Bagis answered the questions of Mr. Tan on the current issues on the program, aired on Friday the 4th of July 2008 at TV8's Ankara studios.

Bagis noted that Turkey is continuing to develop rapidly, and as the AK Party, that they are trying to be worthy of the trust of Turkish people because AK Party is seen as a hope by all segments of Turkish community. Bagis stated that with the vision of AK Party government Turkey has approached to the level of modern civilizations, which was the aim of our Great Leader Ataturk. Bagis underlined that "Nobody can stand against Turkey if everybody fulfills his duty substantially and if Turkish people are firmly clasped together."

Bagis also mentioned the global stagnation of economy and internal political developments and said "Despite all the current events, Turkish economy is very strong and is continuing to grow".
