WORKSHOP IN THE FOREIGN AFFAİRS DEPARTMENT ON "THE FAMILIY"

The workshop on "Contemporary Family and Education Policies in Turkey and Germany" organized jointly by the AK Party Foreign Affairs Department and Konrad Adeneur Stiftung was held in the AK Party Headquarters on 14 May 2008.

Egemen Bagis, AK Party Vice-Chairman in Charge of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Herman Kues, The Parliamentary Secretary of State in the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, and Dirk Trondle, Turkey Representative of Konrad Adeneur Stiftung made the opening remarks of the workshop. The Turkish and German MPs also took the flor during the workshop and explained their views on some subjects such as "Significance of the Family in Turkey and Germany, and Contemporary Policies on Women and Youth" and "Women and Youth in Turkey and Germany- Education and Career Opportunities"
