CALL ON PKK TO GIVE UP ARMS

Reminding the call on PKK to lay down their arms, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis said, “Make use of Mr. Prime Minister’s call for laying down arms as a last chance, lay your arms down, and pave the way for putting an end to the military operations.”

Minister Bagis held official talks in Igdir and made a speech at the 4th Ordinary Provincial Congress of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) in Igdir held at the Sports Hall of Igdir Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. In his speech, Bagis said that the call of Prime Minister Erdogan on PKK to lay arms down should be made use of as a last chance.

Bagis also said “We have always fought against the trouble of terrorism which tries to create problem among us, martyrizes our young willowy sons and spoils our sources, and we have not let them spoil our brotherhood. Minister Bagis continued his words as follows:

“From now on there is no place left to hide for the separatist terrorist organisation. The people of the region indicate by saying “that is enough” to those who perceive arms as the insurance of the Kurdish people that they had enough and they ran out of patience. So, make use of Mr. Prime Minister’s call for laying down arms as a last chance and lay your arms down.”

Indicating that they had big targets for 2023 which would be the 100th anniversary of Turkish Republic, Minister Bagis said “What we should do in line with our 2023 targets is to make Turkey have a civilian constitution. We have already started to work for it.
