TURKEY LEADS WAY TO GLOBAL DEVELOPMENTS
AK Party Vice Chairman and Foreign Relations Chairman Egemen Bagis attended to a meeting titled "Bodrum Meets and Talks its Future," which was organized by AK Party Bordum Provincial Chairmanship on Sunday May 4, 2008, and stated that with AK Parti government Turkey assumes a position that leads developments in the world.
Bagis said Antalya comes the first and Mugla the second among the cities that sell real estate to foreign buyers. Mostly German people buy real estate in Turkey, stated Bagis and there is not a real-estate registered on Israelis in the South East Anatolia. The Israelis had 110 pieces of real property in Turkey and in the last two years this number has dropped to 97. They don't have any investments in GAP (South East Anatolia Project) region, he added. Bagis touched on the Armenian allegations in his speech as well and said first time in the history of the Turkish Republic a Prime Minister has declared "If they are ready to face their history, I'm ready as well," but although two years have passed the Armenians have not answered yet. Armeina is in great distress at the moment and the only way to open itself to the world is to have good relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan, added Bagis.
With AK Party government Turkey has overcome its vague foreign policies and developed good relations with its neighbors, said Bagis. "With AK Party government Turkey has become a country that leads global developments and is appreciated by the whole world," he added.
